What is biltong?
Biltong is a dried beef snack traditionally made in South Africa that many compare to beef jerky.
Some of the key differences are biltong is not made with preservatives, sugars or additives.
It is air dried over weeks vs. dehydrated in hours. Dried as slab of steak rather than thinly sliced pieces.
These leads to a flavor that is a lot more like a fine dried steak.
Does Grass-Fed Biltong taste different?
Grass-fed beef contains less total fat, more omega-3 fatty acids, more linoleic acid and more vitamin E than grain fed beef, giving it a higher nutritional value. Grass-fed biltong will therefore have less marbling (fat) and be drier than grain fed beef and some say it has a “gamier” flavor.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! All orders over $99 are shipped free Monday - Friday.
When will my order arrive?
Orders placed before 12 pm EST will be shipped via USPS by end of day. Average shipping time is about 3-5 business days (excluding weekends)
Where do you ship from?
We have distribution centers in Pennsylvania and Nevada. Your order will be shipped from the facility closest to the address provided.
How do I use a promotion code?
If you have a discount code, ensure that it is applied at checkout. Discount codes cannot be used with previously discounted subscriptions or current promotions.
How do I store my biltong?
Biltong has a long shelf life (check the date printed on the bag). Unopened bags should always be kept in a cool, dry place away from humidity. Because biltong is air-dried and made with no artificial preservatives (that's why it is such a healthy snack) once opened, refrigeration will prolong its shelf life if sealed in an air-tight container. Let it stand for 30 minutes to return to room temperature for best enjoyment.
